3 Lacks at Trinity Health Grand Rapids Hospital is a 32-bed, all-private-room acute care unit specializing in geriatric patients (65+). This high-acuity, adaptable care environment unit manages telemetry, cardiac drips, high-flow oxygen, BiPAP, and advanced therapies. Nurses care for patients with rapidly changing conditions, using advanced assessment and strong clinical judgment. 3 Lacks follows a nurse-directed, team-based care model with RNs, LPNs, Nurse Externs, PCAs, and Virtual RNs. The hospital is a NICHE Exemplar Organization, recognized for excellence in geriatric nursing and interdisciplinary collaboration. Schedule

  • Full-time
  • Three 12-hour shifts per week
  • Every third weekend rotation
  • Night Shift

Responsibilities

Registered Nurse, RN works in a collaborative environment to deliver excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team providing evidence-based medicine and individualized patient care. A Registered Nurse, RN is expected to facilitate all aspects of the patient visit experience.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited Nursing school and program
  • Associate’s Degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred. In Grand Rapids, if ADN must enroll in BSN program within 6 months of hire and complete within 4 years of hire
  • Licensed in the State of Michigan
  • Current BLS AHA certification
  • Experience in a health care setting
