Registered Nurse- Progressive Care

Saint Luke’s South in Overland Park is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our progressive care unit team. We are looking for positive nurses who enjoy working with a team, are passionate about helping others expand their skill sets, and are patient-centered. Saint Luke’s South is a Primary Stroke Center and STEMI receiving center, delivering high-quality health care to Johnson County, Kansas, and surrounding communities. It is certified by The Joint Commission in orthopedic joint replacement for hip and knee, and its maternity program earned the Kansas High 5 for Mom & Baby for care that supports breastfeeding best practices.
Schedule
Part Time Nights, 6:45pm–7:15am (24 hours per week).
Responsibilities
- Utilizes the nursing process.
- Performs patient care, delegates patient care tasks, and supervises other patient care staff.
- Coordinates the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consults with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures.
Requirements
- Applicable experience: Less than 1 year.
- Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
- Registered Nurse license.
- Associate Degree.
