Registered Nurse - SAFE

About the Role

This position involves providing nursing care in a fast-paced environment. The role requires exceptional communication skills, emotional resilience, and strict confidentiality adherence, with the ability to work independently under high-stress conditions.

Schedule: 24 hours per week on a rotational day shift.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care across all age groups in office and clinical settings.
• Work in environments requiring frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting.
• Follow infection control protocols, including PPE usage and equipment sanitation.
• Complete necessary NYS-specific training and clinical preceptorships for SAFE designation.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing School (ADN or BSN).
• Active, unrestricted RN license in New York.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in Emergency Nursing, Critical Care, Women's Health, or Pediatrics preferred.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS, PALS, SANE-A, AFN-C, LNCC preferred.
• Core competencies include excellent communication, emotional resilience, confidentiality, and independence.
• Completion of NYS Department of Health-approved SAFE training and clinical preceptorships.
