Registered Nurse - RNFA

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified individual for a position in the Surgery Recovery Unit for day shifts. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Function as a perioperative team member, utilizing information from various sources to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care under the direct supervision of a surgeon.
• Operate within the full scope of licensure.
• Accountability for the assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care.
• Provide direct patient care, patient/family education, and manage transitions of care.
• Deliver holistic and individualized care to patients in the assigned area.
• Develop, implement, and manage an optimal interdisciplinary plan of care.
• Foster collaborative relationships with patients, their families/support groups, physicians, and other healthcare providers through effective communication.
• Adhere to hospital policies, industry standards, best practices, and applicable laws/regulations to ensure a quality patient experience.
• Engage in continuous professional growth and development in nursing practice.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience required.
• California Registered Nurse (CA RN) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
