Responsibilities
Provides instruction, individually or in a group format to persons of all ages. Provides staff development guidance to assist staff providing patient education based on established protocols or guidelines. Monitors, evaluates and revises education programs. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
- MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 2 years clinical nursing practice. Demonstrated competency in area of expertise.
- REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Possession of current Texas State License for Registered Nurse
- REQUIRED COURSES/ COMPLETIONS: Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire
