About the role

Per Diem, rotating schedule. Responsible for the coordination of clinical activities of the Wound Care Center. These include, but are not limited to, utilization of skills in organization, planning, implementing, evaluating, and providing patient care through the use of hospital and nursing standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Current RN Texas License.
  • Wound Care Certification preferred.
  • Medical surgical, home health, or wound care experience preferred.
  • Must maintain and demonstrate competency in BLS (Basic Life Support), infection control, safety, and all unit-required skill reviews. Required certifications are to be completed by 3 months of employment.
  • Must meet the physical requirements of the job.
