Role Overview

This position involves delivering comprehensive nursing care to patients by developing individualized care plans, performing assessments, and providing physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and their families.

Responsibilities

  • Review physician prescriptions, communicate care plans, and coordinate with healthcare team members.
  • Obtain medical histories, examine patients, document conditions, and develop nursing diagnoses and care objectives.
  • Educate patients and families on health requirements, medications, and self-care skills.
  • Evaluate and modify care plans based on patient outcomes and changing conditions.
  • Maintain a safe environment by adhering to infection control, medication, and safety protocols.
  • Document patient care accurately and ensure proper operation and maintenance of care equipment.
  • Manage supplies by checking inventory, placing orders, and stocking appropriately.
  • Maintain professional competence through ongoing training and adherence to standards.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the practice state.
  • Effective communication, visual acuity, and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Preferred 1-3 years of clinical experience.
