Registered Nurse (RN) - Virtual Care

About the role

Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Virtual Care, supporting inpatient units through advanced technology and clinical expertise. Work Environment: Office and patient care areas requiring walking, standing, and lifting, with exposure to cleaning solutions and PPE. Supports patients of all ages and adheres to infection control policies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with bedside teams via virtual rounding, patient education, admissions, discharges, clinical surveillance, and care coordination to enhance patient outcomes and experience.
• Provide virtual clinical support.
• Serve as a resource for bedside staff.
• Support patient care continuity and safety.

Qualifications

• RN license in NYS.
• Minimum of 3 years recent acute care experience in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry.
• BLS certification.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree.
• Preferred: 5+ years of acute care.
• Preferred: Charge nurse or preceptor experience.
• Preferred: National certification in acute care.
