About the role

Join our EPIC team at Dimondale Nursing Care Center! Our Registered Nurses deliver specialized care to patients across various medical specialties including orthopedics, cardiac care, respiratory health, oncology, palliative care, infectious diseases, neurology, and dermatology. You'll have the autonomy to evaluate patient needs and administer care as you see fit, leveraging cutting-edge technology and being an integral part of a robust interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of treatments, including wound care, irrigations, IV therapy, tube feedings, chest tubes, and peritoneal dialysis.
• Administer medications to patients as prescribed by the physician and advise patients and families regarding changes to medications, treatment plans, and patient condition.
• Provide preventative and supportive care directed to the physiologic and psychosocial well-being of patients.
• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in every daily interaction with guests, their families, and visitors.
• Oversee the Nurse Aide team, giving direction, assignments, offering training, and contributing to recognition and evaluations.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) - must be licensed in Michigan; current CPR-BLS certification.
• An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, or higher.
• A high level of analytical abilities in preparing personalized care plans, implementing effective nursing care and rehabilitation, and developing solutions to difficult problems concerning well-being.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative care!
• You are a team player, dedicated to supporting your team members and getting the job done.
