Registered Nurse RN - Universal Hospice

About the role

Otterbein is a not-for-profit, faith-based ministry that is a national leader and innovator in retirement living communities and long-term care. Otterbein is seeking a Universal Hospice RN to assist in the growth of our Universal Hospice ministry in Granville, New Albany and Gahanna, Ohio. Otterbein Universal Hospice complements already strong independent senior services, outpatient capabilities and clinical facilities at Otterbein. Responsibilities

• Provide skilled professional nursing care to patients, their families and caregivers as prescribed by the physician and in compliance with the Hospice Medicare Conditions of Participation, Ohio Hospice licensure laws and agency policies and procedures.
• Manage a primary caseload.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred; graduate of an approved nursing program.
• Licensure/Certification: Valid Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience: A minimum of 2–4 years’ direct patient care experience in hospice or home care.
