Job Overview
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the day-to-day activities of a dedicated unit
- Ensure patients receive high-quality care and services
- Supervise and mentor a team of RNs, LPNs, and caregivers
- Develop and implement unit policies and procedures
- Collaborate with other departments to provide comprehensive care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient satisfaction surveys
- Demonstrate expertise in patient assessment, care planning, and documentation
- Communicate and resolve conflicts effectively
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports
Requirements
- Current New York RN license
- Prior experience as a nurse, with previous management or leadership experience preferred
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Effective in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Commitment to excellent patient care and service
