Registered Nurse (RN) - TRAUMA ANALYST - Full Time Days
Southwest Healthcare Inland Valley Hospital in Wildomar, California, is a licensed 122-bed facility accredited by the Joint Commission. It is Southwest Riverside County's only designated Trauma Center and a county-designated Paramedic Base Station. The hospital performs more than 4,000 surgeries a year and has an average of 4,000 Emergency Department visits per month. The hospital features a Bariatric Weight-Loss Surgery Center of Excellence and the region’s only Total Joint Center.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellence in patient care, collaborative and comprehensive care based on patient and/or family needs.
- Conduct assessments, treatment, and care on assigned units.
- Practice in accordance with all regulatory, professional, legal, and hospital policies.
- Demonstrate behaviors that model the SWHS Core Values and the hospital’s mission statement.
- Manage and care for critically ill trauma patients with trauma competency.
- Organize and prepare for urgent and emergent situations using analytical skills.
- Abstract data from database software into spreadsheet formats.
- Utilize computer skills including word processing, spreadsheet, graphic display, data entry, and network systems.
- Operate communications tools such as phone with voicemail, fax, pagers, and copiers.
Requirements
- 3-5 years recent Emergency Department-Critical Care Trauma Experience.
- Completion of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with current California RN license.
- BLS (AHA) certification.
- ACLS (AHA) certification.
- PALS (AHA) certification.
- TNCC certification preferred.
- CEN or CCRN strongly encouraged.
Employees may be required to float to other facilities within Southwest Health (Rancho Springs and Inland Valley Hospital) based on operational needs, with appropriate orientation and competency validation provided.
