Registered Nurse (RN)- Telemetry- Per Diem

About the Role

As a Per Diem Telemetry Nurse at Lankeanu Medical Center, you will be part of an interdisciplinary team caring for an adult general telemetry patient population in a 31-bed unit. Your role is integral to the patient experience, providing critical care and treatment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult telemetry patients.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient treatment.
• Participate in ongoing feedback and career development through performance appraisals and 1:1 communication with your manager.
• Engage in hospital and system-wide nursing committees, unit councils, evidence-based research projects, and precepting new staff.
• Pursue professional growth opportunities, including the Clinical Ladder program.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of recent Telemetry RN experience.
• RN Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• PA RN license or a multi-state license verified in an approved state through the Nursing Licensure Compact.
• Provider BLS certification (American Heart Association/American Red Cross) required.

Schedule

Per Diem position requiring a minimum of 36 hours per 6-week period, with at least 24 of those hours on weekends. Shift schedules vary based on availability.
