Registered Nurse (RN)- Telemetry/Oncology/Stroke

About the role

As a Telemetry/Oncology Registered Nurse in our 26-bed unit, you will care for an adult patient population requiring telemetry, stroke, and oncology services. This role offers the opportunity to become chemotherapy certified within your first year and is an integral part of our interdisciplinary team, directly impacting the patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to telemetry, stroke, and oncology patients.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver personalized patient care.
• Participate in hospital and system-wide nursing committees, unit councils, and evidence-based research projects.
• Engage in professional development opportunities, including precepting new staff and pursuing the Clinical Ladder program.

Requirements

• 1 year of RN experience required; telemetry experience highly preferred.
• RN Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• PA RN license or a multi-state license verified in an approved Nursing Licensure Compact state.
• Provider BLS certification (American Heart Association/American Red Cross) preferred.

Schedule
