The Professional Registered Nurse in the Telemetry Float Pool provides quality nursing care in collaboration with medical staff and within the guidelines of the New Jersey State Nurse Practice Act. This role implements the hospital’s mission and goals through established policies, procedures, and performance-improvement activities, administering individualized, age-specific professional nursing care to patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care in collaboration with medical staff.
• Implement the hospital’s mission and goals through policies, procedures, and performance-improvement activities.
• Administer individualized, age-specific professional nursing care to patients within assigned units.
• Assess patient age-specific needs and determine appropriate treatment modalities based on principles of growth and development.

Requirements

• Active NJ RN License or Multistate RN License with NJ Endorsement.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; a bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred.
• 1+ years of Telemetry/Medical-Surgical hospital experience.

Schedule

• Full-Time, Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM.
• Every other weekend required.

Pay

The anticipated hourly wage range for this position is $49.28 - $66.05 per hour. The compensation offered will depend on the candidate’s educational background, skills, and professional experience.
