Responsibilities

The Professional Registered Nurse provides quality nursing care in collaboration with medical staff and within the guidelines of the New Jersey State Nurse Practice Act. Key responsibilities include:

• Implementing the Hospital’s Mission and goals through established policies, procedures, and performance-improvement activities.
• Organizing and administering individualized, age-specific professional nursing care to patients within an assigned unit.
• Assessing each patient’s age-specific needs and determining appropriate treatment modalities based on principles of growth and development.

Requirements

• Active NJ RN License or Multistate RN License with NJ Endorsement.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; a bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred.
• 1+ year of Telemetry/Medical-Surgical hospital experience.

Schedule

• Full-Time, Day Shift – 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM.
• Every other weekend required.

Pay

The anticipated hourly wage range for this position is $49.28 - $66.05 per hour. The compensation offered will depend on the candidate’s educational background, skills, and professional experience.
