This is a great unit for experienced Med-Surg nurses seeking to advance their skills and grow in their practice.
Responsibilities
- Manages the care of 4-5 patients on day and PM shift and 5-6 patients on the night.
- Coordinates comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
- Provides and coordinates therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Uses evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication.
- Creates the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Qualifications
This position is eligible for a SIGN-ON BONUS up to $10,000, payable after hire. Student Loan Forgiveness, Tuition Assistance, RN Referral, and Military/Veteran Friendly Pay Range are also offered.
