Registered Nurse (RN) - Surgical Trauma Stepdown

About the role

Could you be our next 3/4 Day Weekend Nurse at Lankenau Medical Center on our Surgical Trauma Stepdown? Working three out of four weekends per month as a Staff Nurse in the Surgical Trauma Stepdown offers the experience of collaborating with an interdisciplinary team within the 32‑bed unit. As a Registered Nurse you would be caring for the Surgical/Trauma Stepdown patient population, and your care and treatment are integral to each patient’s experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to Surgical/Trauma Stepdown patients.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in a 32‑bed unit.
• Contribute to patient experience through attentive care and treatment.

Requirements

• Minimum one year of recent Stepdown‑level nursing experience.
• RN Diploma or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required; BSN preferred (if BSN not held, must enroll within 6 months and complete within 3 years).
• Current Pennsylvania RN license or a multi‑state license verified through the Nursing Licensure Compact.
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
