Registered Nurse (RN) - Surgical Step-Down - Midnights - $20,000 Sign-On Bonus

Christiana Care is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 35-bed Surgical Intermediate/Step-Down Unit (4D) that cares for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients requiring nursing interventions every 2–4 hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-acuity nursing care on a 35-bed inpatient Surgical Intermediate/Step-Down Unit.
• Perform assessments and interventions every 2–4 hours for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Requirements

• BSN required; or commitment to obtain within three years of hire.
• One year of nursing experience required; two years in an acute-care setting strongly preferred.
• Current or eligible RN license in Delaware.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required within one year of hire.

Pay

Hourly pay range: $41.28 – $66.05.

Schedule

• Full-time position: 72 hours per pay period / 36 hours per week.
• Overnight shift: 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.
• Weekend rotation and holiday coverage required per organizational policy.
