Registered Nurse (RN) - Surgical Day Care

About the role

Join our Surgical Day Care team and play a vital role in delivering high-quality, compassionate care to patients undergoing same-day surgical procedures. As a Registered Nurse (RN), you'll provide both pre-operative and post-operative care, helping patients safely prepare for surgery and recover with confidence before returning home the same day. You'll work in a collaborative, patient-centered environment alongside surgeons, anesthesia providers, and multidisciplinary care teams—where your clinical expertise and voice truly matter.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive pre- and post-surgical nursing care for same-day surgery patients
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia staff, and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain accountability for the safety and quality of care you provide or delegate

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience required
• Experience in CCU, ED, or PACU strongly preferred
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
• BLS (Basic Life Support) - Healthcare Provider certification required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required
• PALS required
• IV Certification preferred

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program

Pay

Pay Range: $36.78 - $73.57 / Hourly

Schedule

Shift: Variable Shifts
Hours: variable shifts between 5am-7:30pm
