About the role
The Surgical Care team at Franklin Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Operating Room. This role offers a unique blend of teamwork, technical skill, and patient advocacy.
Responsibilities
- Focus on one patient at a time, serving as a critical advocate throughout the surgical experience.
- Work closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists in a highly collaborative environment.
- Gain expertise in surgical procedures, sterile technique, patient safety, and perioperative care.
- Learn a unique set of clinical skills through a supportive orientation and training program.

Requirements
- New Graduate OR Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
- Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required.
- Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
- One year of recent RN experience required for new graduates.
Qualifications
- Must be in good standing and meet RN I requirements to advance from RN I level.

Pay
This is a full-time opportunity with a schedule of 7am-3:30pm, 32 hours per week, 4 days a week, 1 day off a week, 8-hour shifts, and 1 call night every 2 weeks and 1 call weekend every 4-5 weeks.
