About the role
The Registered Nurse (RN) in Surgery is responsible for delivering safe, efficient and high-quality patient care throughout the perioperative process. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing the operating room and ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available
- Performing circulating nurse duties during surgical procedures
- Maintaining sterile technique and monitoring the surgical environment for safety and compliance
- Anticipating the needs of the surgical team to support efficient case flow
- Communicating effectively with surgeons, anesthesia providers and team members
- Documenting care accurately and in a timely manner
- Participating in process improvement efforts to enhance efficiency, safety and team performance
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Current state RN license
- ACLS, BCLS, PALS required
- At least one year of Perioperative RN experience
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or associate degree from an accredited nursing school
Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to maintain sterile technique
- Effective teamwork and collaboration

Pay
This position offers a wage scale of $42.14 - $78.11 per hour.
Schedule
8 Hour Shifts
Monday through Friday from 0700-1530
On-Call rotation including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays, may be required based on departmental needs
1 Weekend/Month Required
