Working hours

• Total of 72 hours/2 weeks.
• Surgery: 6:45 a.m.-7:15 p.m. and 6:45 p.m.-7:15 a.m., every third weekend.
• Medical Surgical Unit: 6:45 a.m.-7:15 p.m. and 6:45 p.m.-7:15 a.m., every third weekend.
• Occasional Holidays: Surgery hours may have an earlier start for the day.

Medical/Surgical Unit Job Overview

Delivers Nursing Care by developing a nursing diagnosis; establishing nursing care objectives; defining nursing interventions; providing physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, families, and friends to understand patient conditions, medications, and self-care skills; noting changing conditions and needs; re-evaluating care objectives.

Required Education, License/Certification, Or Work Experience

• Registered Nurse (RN) - Board of Nursing: Active license in the state of practice.
• Experience: 1-3 years Experience working in a clinical environment.

• Experience: 1-3 years Experience working in a clinical environment.

• Ability to work the hours specified.
• Visual acuity adequate to perform position duties.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds.
