About the role

Sentara Albemarle Medical Center is hiring a Registered Nurse for the 2-South Medical/Surgical Unit. The position offers a $20,000 sign-on bonus and is full-time, working nights.

Responsibilities

• Care for adult, geriatric, adolescent patient population
• Triage and manage medical and gynecological cases
• Handle medical and surgical emergencies
• Participate in the 11-week Transition to Practice program for new graduates
• Support the 6-month residency program for new graduates

Requirements

• Registered nursing license
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred
• Experience not required

Qualifications

• New Grad RNs are welcome to apply
• Medical or GYN overflow patients cared for on this unit
