About the role

The Ontario Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor for their Skilled Nursing Facility in Canandaigua, NY. The ideal candidate should have prior supervisor experience in long-term care and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain nursing guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures
  • Schedule and assign nursing staff to complete resident care requirements
  • Create a compassionate environment by supporting residents and their families
  • Answer questions and requests from residents and staff
  • Monitor confidential information processing and ensure safe and clean working environments
  • Auditor Resident and department records to ensure upkeep of nursing supplies inventory and other responsibilities as required

Requirements

  • Valid RN License
  • Long-Term Care Experience
  • Basic Computer Skills
  • Excellent Communication Skills and Strong Team Player
