Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor
About the role
The Ontario Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor for their Skilled Nursing Facility in Canandaigua, NY. The ideal candidate should have prior supervisor experience in long-term care and strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Maintain nursing guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures
- Schedule and assign nursing staff to complete resident care requirements
- Create a compassionate environment by supporting residents and their families
- Answer questions and requests from residents and staff
- Monitor confidential information processing and ensure safe and clean working environments
- Auditor Resident and department records to ensure upkeep of nursing supplies inventory and other responsibilities as required
Requirements
- Valid RN License
- Long-Term Care Experience
- Basic Computer Skills
- Excellent Communication Skills and Strong Team Player
