About the role
The RN Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the nursing staff in a healthcare facility, ensuring patient care standards are met and promoting a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the nursing department
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and policies
- Mentor and train new nurses
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers
- Manage staffing and scheduling
- Assist in resolving conflicts among staff
- Conduct regular performance evaluations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current RN license in good standing
- Minimum 3 years of nursing experience
- Experience supervising a nursing staff
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
