The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for overseeing and coordinating resident care during assigned shifts, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and regulations. They assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans to deliver high-quality, safe care. Supervising licensed practical nurses (LPNs), certified nursing assistants (CNAs), and other team members, the RN ensures continuity of care and serves as a key resource for residents, families, and staff. Key duties include supervising and supporting care staff,assigning and adjusting work based on resident needs and staffing levels,preparing work schedules,managing staffing calls and replacements,performing staff evaluations and participating in hiring decisions,resolving staff concerns, and overseeing unit operations in the absence of management. Qualifications and skills: Minimum 1-2 years of nursing experience in long-term or sub-acute care preferred, current RN license, and CPR certification. The role requires independent judgment, leadership, and excellent communication skills.
