Registered Nurse RN Resource Team
About the role
Banner Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Clinical Care Operations team at Banner Ocotillo Medical Center in Chandler, Arizona. This position supports the clinical needs of multiple units throughout the hospital, including Progressive Care, Med/Surg, and Observation.
Responsibilities
- Affirmatively assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and standards of professional nursing practice.
- Plans care in collaboration with members of the multidisciplinary team, and revises the plan of care to reflect changing patient needs based on evaluation of the patient's status.
- Delegates appropriately, and provides nursing supervision in the provision of care to patients by other licensed nurses and other personnel.
- Evaluates the patient's and family's response to care and teaching, and revises the plan of care as needed.
- Communicates effectively with other health care providers in numerous settings to report and ask for or clarify information.
- Works with clergy to provide spiritual support.
Requirements
- Current, valid RN license in state of practice, temporary/interim RN license in state of practice, or compact RN licensure for current state of practice.
- BLS certification is required.
- One year experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
- Experience in the clinical area for which he or she is applying is desired.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Professional certification preferred.

Pay
The pay range for this position is determined by the state/local market and ranges from $50,000 to $80,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
This position is full-time, night shift, working 3/12-hour shifts with a weekend and holiday rotation required. Enjoy a flat rate $3.00/hour weekend shift differential and a $3.00/hour Float Incentive!
