About the role

This position supports the Clinical Care Operations department and assists patients in various units including Med Surg, Obs, and Progressive Care. It offers opportunities to enhance RN skills in a supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents nursing care of patients.
• Plans and coordinates care for critical care patient populations in the ICU, PCU, and Emergency Department.
• Utilizes self-scheduling tool for shift and weekend coverage.
• Utilizes specialized knowledge and skills to assess data and plan care.
• Delegates tasks and supervises the activities of the health care team.
• Evaluates patient progress and effectiveness of teaching.
• Maintains clinical performance competencies through annual validations.

Requirements

• Current, valid RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification.
• One year experience in an acute care hospital setting.
• Experience in the clinical area for which applying.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Professional certification preferred.

• Specialized knowledge and judgment in nursing practice.
• Ability to prioritize and synthesize data from multiple sources.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Benefits

• $3/hr float pay.
• 18% night shift differential.
• $3/hour weekend shift differential.
