About the Role
The RRT Nurse is a registered nurse responsible for coordinating rapid response assessments, interventions, and documentation to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This role emphasizes leadership, data analysis, and collaboration to improve patient safety and care quality in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Respond to RRT calls and coordinate patient care during emergencies
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions
- Document interventions and outcomes using SBAR
- Develop clinical practice guidelines and monitor patient outcomes
- Collect, analyze, and trend RRT data for quality improvement
- Serve as a professional role model, mentor peers, and support a positive work environment
- Promote evidence-based practice and ensure compliance with policies
Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred)
- Current RN licensure in Georgia or multi-state compact
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and critical care certification (preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of critical care nursing experience
