About the role

RWJUH Rahway Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Emergency Department team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department setting
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor and document patient conditions and responses to interventions
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions

Qualifications

• Current New Jersey Registered Nurse license
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Emergency Department nursing experience preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification preferred

Pay

$48.29 — $65.06 per hour. The compensation offered will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.
