About the Role
Radiology RNs provide coverage for all imaging procedures, including CT, MRI, Fluoroscopy, Nuclear Medicine, and Breast Imaging. Responsibilities include support for a variety of procedures such as pre/post calls, anesthesia/sedation recovery, and more.
Responsibilities
- IV access (including difficult access patients)
- Medication administration
- Sedation monitoring and recovery
- Pre- and post-procedure assessment, including lab clearance
- Hemodynamic monitoring
- Basic telemetry rhythm recognition
- Rapid identification of patient deterioration
- Appropriate escalation (RRT, code protocols)
- Infection prevention, especially in procedural breast imaging
- High-level patient education (procedures, risks, consent support)
- Anxiety management
- Strong interdisciplinary communication
Requirements
- Degree from an accredited school/college of nursing (BSN or ADN)
- BLS Provider certification (accredited by the American Heart Association) required prior to hire
- Illinois Board of Nursing license prior to hire

Pay
- BSN Pay Range: $36.05 - $59.92 per hour
- ADN Pay Range: $32.90 - $57.06 per hour
Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
Schedule
5x8's, Day Shift. Hours: 7:30am-4pm and 9am-5:30pm. Rotation of weekends and holidays (7:30am-4pm).
