Registered Nurse - Radiology
About the Role
The Radiology Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering safe patient care utilizing the nursing process, providing direct care within the scope of practice, and working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team. This role supports Radiologists in performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, assists with equipment maintenance and inventory, and ensures procedure room readiness. The nurse adheres to regulations, standards, and hospital policies, participates in performance improvement activities, and acts as a resource for other personnel.
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe patient care utilizing the nursing process.
- Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure high-quality nursing care and service excellence.
- Assist Radiologists in performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Maintain equipment and inventory.
- Assess procedure room or equipment functioning and readiness.
- Adhere to regulations, standards, and hospital or unit policies and procedures.
- Participate in Performance Improvement activities, department meetings, and in-services.
- Act as a resource for other personnel as appropriate.
- Demonstrate competency in Conscious Sedation Monitoring within 30 days of hire.
Requirements
- Current and valid state RN License.
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Current ACLS Certification within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
- Conscious Sedation Monitoring competency within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
- One (1) year of acute clinical Radiology Nursing experience preferred.
- Ventilator Management experience preferred.
- Certified Radiology Nurse (CRN) preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Pay
A reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $35.70 to $54.11 per hour. The exact starting compensation will be determined based on factors such as skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
Schedule
Part-time, less than 60 hours per pay period. Shift: Days.
