About the role
Provides specialized nursing care in a 9-bed Progressive Care Unit for patients with acute respiratory and medical conditions.
Responsibilities
- Conducts assessments
- Develops and implements individualized care plans
- Educates patients and families
- Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality, safety, and effective treatment
- Monitors patient status
- Supports respiratory weaning
- Participates in safety and quality initiatives
- Adheres to standards of nursing care
Qualifications & Skills
- RN licensure
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- No prior experience necessary; less than 2 years advantageous
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient-centered care skills

Schedule
