About the role
Provide direct clinical nursing care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU), ensuring high-quality, safe, and cost-effective patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and coordinate patient care according to medical regimens and nursing standards.
- Supervise staff to ensure appropriate care delegation and maintain clinical competency.
- Support the Chief Nursing Officer in quality, safety, resource management, and staff development.
- Adhere to safety protocols, risk management, infection control, and emergency procedures, including hospital incident command system roles.
- Perform related duties as required.
- Deliver comprehensive patient care, coordinate within medical regimes, ensure safety standards, and manage emergency responses in collaboration with hospital policies.
Qualifications
- Graduated from an accredited nursing school and licensed to practice as an RN.
- Current CPR certification.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in nursing.
