Registered Nurse (RN)- PRN Womens Center

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementing and evaluation.
• Direct and coordinate nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards.
• Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and achieve desired patient outcomes.
• Determine patient care based on knowledge of patient populations.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of RN experience preferred, demonstrating initiative and sound judgment.
• Proven ability to utilize the entire nursing process and maintain established guidelines of care.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Carolina.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications, or obtain within 3 months if not certified in NRP.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.

Skills

• Manual dexterity and fine motor skills for tasks such as taking patient vitals, administering injections, or conducting physical exams.
• Ability to lift and move patients or medical equipment as needed.
• Visual acuity and color perception for reading medical charts, documents, and monitors.
• Auditory ability for effective communication with patients and colleagues, and to perceive important sounds.
• Mobility to navigate clinical environments, including moving between patient rooms, offices, and other areas of the facility.
• Compliance with infection control protocols and proper use of personal protective equipment.
