About the role

Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer or House Supervisor, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit. The Registered Nurse plans, coordinates, and provides patient care to include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources.

Schedule requirements

PRN Tier 2: provide 6 shift availability per month. PRN Tier 3: provide 8 shift availability per month. Both tiers require 1 full weekend per month, 2 major holidays, and 1 minor holiday.

Requirements

• Holds current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state where the hospital resides
• Current BLS certification is required
• Crisis management certification per hospital policy and standards required

Qualifications

• One year of inpatient behavioral health nursing experience preferred but not required
