Registered Nurse - PRN Days

Role: The RN Clinical Nurse Critical Care provides high-quality, safe, patient-centered care within an interdisciplinary team, practicing under the Wellstar Professional Practice Model and adhering to nursing standards and ethics. Responsibilities: Conducts assessments, diagnoses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care using evidence-based practice; partners with patients and families; promotes safety, quality outcomes, and care coordination.Collaborates effectively with team members through documentation, communication, and participation in performance improvement initiatives; supports shared governance and research utilization.Supports professional development by completing competency assessments, mentoring, and serving as preceptor; promotes evidence-based practice and participates in protocol development.Ensures compliance with policies, standards, and regulatory requirements; participates in data collection and resource management to optimize patient care. Qualifications: Associates or Bachelor's nursing degree; valid RN license (single or multi-state); certifications in ACLS, BLS, and other relevant credentials required upon hire. Skills: Proficient in English, with strong interpersonal, collaboration, customer service, and critical thinking skills; capable of working in fast-paced, emergency situations; adept with technology and time management.
