Registered Nurse (RN) - PRN Days - Oncology

About the role

Provides patient-centered, evidence-based nursing care by performing the full nursing process, ensuring individualized treatment that respects cultural diversity. Collaborates effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to promote optimal health outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates safe, high-quality care through thorough documentation and team communication.
• Acts as a preceptor or mentor to support professional development and ensure a competent workforce.
• Engages in performance improvement, research, and evidence-based practices to enhance patient care.
• Participates in protocol development, resource management, and supports organizational policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an Associate’s or Diploma in Nursing; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Valid RN license (single or multi-state), BLS, and ACLS certifications are required.
• At least 2 years of current relevant clinical experience, with proficiency in data entry, Epic, and 3M systems preferred.
