Registered Nurse (RN) - Private Duty Nurse
About the role
Maxim Healthcare in Taylorsville, KY, is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to work 1-on-1 with pediatric and/or adult patients in their homes. Full-time and part-time positions available for day, evening, and/or night shifts. Pay depends on schedule, experience, and the skills required per patient.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- On each assignment, provide skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders.
- Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data and information from health care members and document actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
Qualifications
- Currently licensed as an RN in the state in which the RN will practice.
- Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
- Current BLS card.
- One year of prior professional nursing experience preferred.
