The new graduate OR Registered Nurse II - Primary Care role provides high-quality care to patients and families calling or presenting for care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, and performs a wide variety of patient care services to assist physicians/advanced practice practitioners in delivering excellent care to patients of the practice.

About the role

MaineHealth Memorial Hospital is a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital serving the Mount Washington Valley of northern New Hampshire and western Maine. Our team combines the close-knit feel of a community hospital with the resources and support of MaineHealth. In this full-time role, you'll work alongside experienced providers, nurses, and support staff caring for patients across all stages of life.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care services under the supervision of physicians/advanced practice practitioners.
  • Provide a wide variety of patient care services to assist in delivering excellent care to patients of the practice.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
  • Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required.
  • Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
  • New graduate OR one year of recent RN experience required.

Qualifications

  • Must be in good standing and meet RN I requirements to advance from RN I level.

Pay

Up to $10,000 Sign-on bonus for all eligible Registered Nurses with 0-2 years of experience and $20,000 for experienced Registered Nurses with greater than 2 years of experience!

Schedule

This is a full-time role with a predictable schedule and work-life balance typical of a primary care setting.
