Registered Nurse (RN) - PreOp / PACU

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the PreOp / PACU - Post Anesthesia Care unit. Key Responsibilities Include Providing professional, individualized bedside nursing care based on patient needs and the nursing process.Assessing physical, psychosocial, spiritual, educational, cultural, and safety requirements upon admission and throughout care.Developing and implementing patient-centered care plans, setting realistic outcome goals, and guiding patients and families.Delegating tasks, evaluating care quality, and ensuring safety and compliance with guidelines.Participating in hourly rounding and acting as shift supervisor when needed.Implementing medical and nursing orders, and maintaining effective communication within the team.Performing tasks assigned within the hospital setting, including assessing and responding to patient status changes. Qualifications And Skills Required Current RN license in the state, CPR, and ACLS certification; PALS or ENPC preferred for certain roles.Minimum two years of Level III NICU experience or relevant acute care background; new graduates considered.Effective interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and basic computer proficiency.Additional certifications or training in specialty areas (e.g., Bariatrics, Wound Care) are advantageous. Preferred Qualifications Include Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).Specialty certifications and experience in neonatal, bariatric, or wound care. This role involves direct patient care, care planning, supervision, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
