About the role

Northwest Specialty Pre-Surgical Clinic is seeking a compassionate, patient-focused RN to direct and provide professional nursing care in our Pre-Surgical Clinic setting. You will utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to direct or provide nursing care. Responsibilities include delegating nursing assignments, preparing schedules, overseeing admissions and discharges, and monitoring and ordering medications and supplies.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and provide professional nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation).
  • Delegate nursing assignments and prepare staff schedules.
  • Oversee admissions and discharges in the Pre-Surgical Clinic.
  • Monitor and order medications and supplies.

Requirements

  • Current RN licensure in the State of Idaho.
  • Proof of Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
  • ACLS certification within six months of employment.
  • Demonstrated skills in verbal and written English communications for safe and effective patient care and to meet documentation standards.
  • Ability to relate and work effectively with others.
  • Awareness of professional nursing standards and performance in accordance with them.

Qualifications

Previous PACU, ambulatory care, critical care, or general nursing experience is preferred.
