Banner Estrella Medical Center is a 353-bed acute care hospital located in West Phoenix. This hospital is known for its innovative approach, including electronic medical records, computerized physician order entry, and advanced ICU monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards.
• Plans and coordinates care for patients in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
• Delegates tasks to other licensed nurses and healthcare team members as appropriate.
• Evaluates patient progress and adjusts the plan of care as needed.
• Communicates effectively with other healthcare providers and maintains accurate documentation.
• Provides care based on evidence-based practices and participates in research activities.

Requirements

• Current, valid RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification.
• One year experience in an acute care hospital setting.
• Experience in postpartum patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Professional certification in nursing preferred.
