Job Summary
The Mother Baby Unit at Henrico Doctors' Hospital is a new state-of-the-art facility with 35 private rooms designed for family-centered recovery. As a Mother Baby Unit RN, you will participate in educational activities to maintain competence and gain new knowledge, while also developing skills on a daily basis by providing quality care to each patient based on individual needs.
You will communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers and document required information according to hospital policy. Key responsibilities include assessing and fostering patient-infant bonding.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Current Registered Nurse license in Virginia or a compact license
- At least two years of recent inpatient experience is required
- Two years recent Mother Baby experience highly preferred
- Current BLS certification
