Join our team as a night shift, full-time Post Partum Couplet Care Registered Nurse in Pocatello, ID. Portneuf Medical Center is a nationally recognized healthcare leader with 205 beds, serving as the region's tertiary care and Level II Trauma Center. We house the Portneuf Heart and Vascular Institute, Portneuf Cancer Center, Portneuf Medical Group, and Portneuf Air Rescue.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Respond to life-threatening situations with appropriate nursing interventions.
• Organize care delivery by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, evaluating, and communicating with all necessary Providers/Leaders on an ongoing basis.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN licensure in the state of Idaho.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Obtain NRP within six months of hire.
• Obtain STABLE certification within one year of hire for Nursery; preferred for OB/GYN.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least one year of acute care experience.
