About the Role

Join our team as a night shift, PRN Post-Partum Couplet Care Registered Nurse (RN) in Tulsa, OK. You will be accountable for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting care activities in accordance with HHS standards to deliver efficient, effective, and quality patient care. The RN must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of patients served, including understanding principles of growth and development over the life span and the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status.

The RN plans for the provision of patient care, including development, modification, and implementation of the plan of care in accordance with HHS standards and unit-specific policies. Adherence to the rules and regulations set forth by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act is required.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient care activities.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of principles of growth and development to provide age-appropriate care.
  • Interpret patient data to identify requirements relative to age-specific needs.
  • Develop, modify, and implement patient care plans in accordance with HHS standards.
  • Adhere to Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act regulations.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
  • Current Oklahoma RN License.
  • BLS certification (must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care).
  • NRP certification (must be obtained within 6 months of RN hire or transfer date).
  • Unit-specific certificates as required.
