The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey. The compensation offered will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills, and professional experience.

Pay

$47.85 - $64.04 per hour

Schedule

• Per Diem, Day Shift
• Scheduled as needed with a minimum requirement of 2 shifts per month
• Must work 1 winter and 1 summer holiday

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse provides nursing care within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards, ensuring awareness of ethical standards as defined by the ANA code of ethics. Key responsibilities include:

• Assuring safety in practice and reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments and medical errors
• Supervising and directing the delegation of tasks to appropriate team members and collaborating with other patient care providers
• Setting and evaluating priorities through appropriate interventions with measurable outcomes toward improvement
• Utilizing the nursing process to integrate all aspects of care and individualizing the plan of care to address specific patient needs
• Managing the interdisciplinary team and serving as an individual practitioner
• Understanding the patient population served
• Advancing knowledge of self and others on the patient care team through communication and utilization of available resources

Requirements

• Active NJ RN license or compact RN license with NJ endorsement
• BLS from the American Heart Association
• PALS
• ACLS
• ASN or Nursing Diploma (BSN preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in specialty
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proficient computer skills
