Registered Nurse (RN) - Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PER DIEM)

Job Description

The registered nurse works in collaborative environments with strong interdisciplinary teams, focusing on a patient-centered care model in a diverse work space. They utilize evidence-based practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, policies, and procedures of the hospital, and as directed by the medical staff. The nurse develops a plan of care that meets the physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs of the patient and family.

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut RN License
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school (BSN Required)
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association and proof of Arrhythmia Certification required prior to date of hire
