Registered Nurse (RN), Per Diem, Hospice

Provide hospice nursing care where patients want to be – in the comfort of their own home. We are recruiting for a compassionate Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to reliably serve patients in Springfield, MO and surrounding counties.

About the role

This is a Per Diem position that offers true work/life balance with flexible scheduling. You’ll perform 1:1 direct care in client homes, receive hands-on training supplemented with virtual learning, and have 24/7 clinical support as part of a larger interdisciplinary care team. Responsibilities

• Visit a variety of clients in their own home, performing assigned duties including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, procedures, and comfort care.
• Monitor clients' conditions and report changes to Clinical or Client Services Manager.
• Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' orders.
• Perform client assessments as necessary.
• Occasional on-call shifts after hours and/or weekends.

Requirements

• Active and current RN license.
• One year of clinical experience preferred.
• Previous hospice experience welcomed, but not required (training provided).
• Ability to travel locally to cases as assigned.
